Make your vacation magical and memorable at the Aomotu Lodge. Pronounced “our-more-too” meaning “World Island”, the lodge is located in an elevated and central position, overlooking the Bay and Village of Romantic Russell. Aomotu Lodge is a beautiful, architecturally unique house with newly renovated and finely appointed luxury suites. Built with emphasis on native woods and stained glass windows, it has a warm and welcoming ambience.
The tariff includes a delicious cooked and continental breakfast that may be enjoyed on the panoramic veranda, or in the dining room. The lounge and dining areas with high cathedral ceilings provide splendid views of Russell village and the picturesque bay, and watching the sunsets over Waitangi and Paihia relaxed in the front balconies is a favorite pastime of the guests.
Fresh flowers mostly from the in-house garden and fruit along with complimentary chocolates await you in your suite upon your arrival. The lodge has four luxury suites that are unique, and rich in character, and showcase New Zealand craftsmanship. All have ultra-comfy beds, dressed with 100% cotton linens and plush cushions. Each suite offers spectacular and equally impressive views over Russell Village and the sea.
Russell harbour, the village centre on the waterfront, a number of sandy beaches, all local attractions are conveniently situated close by. The hosts Geraldine, Jacqui, Clinton, and Roy, can advise you and arrange a detailed itinerary which can include any and all of the many activities the Bay of Islands has to offer.
