Sunset Cottage unsurprisingly has amazing sunsets from its high viewpoint over Orongo Bay. With great views from its sunny location, you can see out across the Bay all the way to Waitangi and native bush areas. Long Beach has some great swimming & surf, only a few minutes drive away.
Orongo Bay is 4km (4 minutes by car) to Russell village, and it's halfway between the Russell vehicle ferry landing (where you come from Opua) and Russell village.
Sunset Cottage is a new weatherboard-clad cottage for two. It has one en-suite bedroom with a queen bed, lounge & dining area, outdoor patio, & sundeck area overlooking the Bay.

from 1 Mar - 19 Dec: NZ$95.00 per night
Please note: NZ holiday weekends Mar to Dec 19 are high season rate at NZ$125 per night.
Linen optional - (bedsheets, pillow slips, towels & hand towels) either BYO or can be hired at NZ$30.
(BYO assists conservation of water - filtered tank supply).
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS: 1 May to 31 August - stay & pay 4 nights & get 5th night free.
1 September to 19 December - stay & pay 6 nights & get 7th night free.
