Kerikeri, with its superb restaurants, award-winning cafes, craft shops and 3 fantastic golf courses is a few minutes away from the Palm Grove Cottages.
Built around a small lake in a valley, the six individual cottages and their gardens don't come into view until you dip down the first slope. Each cottage has its own name, character, outdoor living space and garden, and faces towards the central park with water gardens.
Fully self-contained, the private cottages, nestling independent of each other amongst acres of lush tropical gardens, are easily accessible by vehicle right up to the door. You can enjoy the romance of the native birds in the surrounding evergreen foliage or stroll along the wide wooden verandahs. With each holiday home having its own decks and outdoor furniture, experience the private freedom of indoor-outdoor living, hidden by the gardens. Spaced out over an area of 5 acres the secluded cottages are far enough apart that one cottage can't be seen from the other. The serene beauty of the subtropical style gardens makes for a more relaxed stay for visitors.
The Cottages:
The Tui is a wonderful spacious 3-bedroom cottage overlooking the water garden. The grove of Puriri trees next to it is frequented by the Tui, a native bird.
The Chapel is a unique 2-storied 2-bedroom cottage next to the water garden. This cottage is the choice of honeymoon couples looking for that special place.
The Ferns is a hexagon shaped open plan studio with a raised aspect and fantastic interiors.
Robinia is a 2 bedroom cottage with a large lawn behind and a wonderful sense of privacy.
Windrest is a 2 bedroom cottage with a high open aspect.
Mandalee is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom cottage offering a unique sense of luxury.
All the cottages have spacious bathrooms and full cooking facilities.
