...Today we had a boat cruise booked for the Bay of Islands which is nearing the north east tip of New Zealand. We got up all smiles and excitement to drive under the sunrise at 7am and got there with 30 minutes to spare.......

...We also spent a weekend in a place 4 hours north of Auckland (the winterless North) called Paihia − a seaside town. Where the kids and both Ians went on a really fast boat called Mack Attack and spent 1.5 hours out at sea.......

New Zealand Roadtrip

...Walked to the harbour and booked a fast boat trip on Mack Attack hole in the rock ride for 12.30. Looked in town a bit had a bit of grub and went back to the harbour to get kitted out for the ride. Dressed top to toe in waterproofs......
