...We toured Lord Busbys residence, visited a Maori meeting room, enjoyed a sunny walk along the shoreline and had a nice New Zealand lamb meat pie for lunch. We toured the Bay of Islands area. The scenery was beautiful.......

...We arrived in Paihia after a long drive, and many roadworks. It was a really nice place, full of history. Perfect for Diane. We stayed at The Mousetrap Hostel, which was a really friendly small and quiet place. Perfect for relaxing.......
Cruising the Bay of Islands, Part I

...A number of ships do this trip: we chose Fullers, who also run the ferry Mike takes to work, so the cruise felt a bit like commuting to him. The Bay is beautiful, and there is significant history around. Cook visited these islands......
