Catrina Sutter Textile Arts

I create deeply textured or 3 dimensional textile sculptures from silk, flax, linen and many other fibres. My creations are often woven but sometimes painted, printed, or embroidered.

Born in Switzerland, I trained in classical European hand weaving and other textile arts, arriving in the Bay of Islands on a sailboat.
